Highlights/Notes:
- The Moose played the game without forward JC Lipon and defenceman Josh Morrissey who were recalled by the Winnipeg Jets earlier in the day Friday. The only two remaining players who have played in every Moose game this season are forwards Chase De Leo and Scott Kosmachuk.
- Goaltender Connor Hellebuyck made 26 saves to pick up his second shutout of the season. He has a 4-3-0 record since returning from the Winnipeg Jets. - Austen Brassard extended his point streak to three games with his 13th goal of the season and added an assist later in the game. Brassard has three goals and three assists for six points in his last three games. His shooting percentage is now 23.2%.
- With an assist in the game, Patrice Cormier now has two goals and two assists in his last four games.
- Scott Kosmachuk scored his 13th goal of the season and eighth goal on the road. He leads the team in goals on the road. He is one goal and one assist off of matching his goal and assist totals from his rookie season last year (14-14-28).
- Ryan Olsen scored his sixth goal of the season and now has two goals in his last three games.
- The Moose continued their excellent work on the penalty kill going a perfect six-for-six in the game. In their last 11 games they have killed off 46 of their last 50 penalties, good for 92.0%.
- Manitoba scored a powerplay goal for the fourth straight game. In their last 11 games the Moose powerplay has gone 10-for-37 for a success rate of 27.0%.
