Wolves Add Zack Phillips

The Chicago Wolves announced Friday that center Zack Phillips has been assigned to the team from the Atlanta Gladiators (ECHL) by St. Louis (NHL).

Phillips, 23, was selected in the first round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft by the Minnesota Wild. The Fredericton, New Brunswick, native has spent nearly all of his professional career in the American Hockey League.

Phillips has posted 35 goals and 65 assists in 251 AHL appearances, which includes 5 goals and 9 assists in 39 games for the Providence Bruins this season. The 6-foot-1, 198-pound forward also notched 1 goal and 1 assist in 5 games for Atlanta.
