Augusta Lynx News Release

Augusta, GA - The Augusta Lynx are proud to announce that they have raised in excess of $13,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Augusta with its jersey auction following Friday night's game against the Florida Everblades.

After wearing the jerseys originally on November 10 against the South Carolina Stingrays, the Lynx once again donned the red, white, and blue star spangled jerseys for last night's contest against the Everblades.

"We're extremely pleased to be able to help such a wonderful organization like the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Augusta," said G.O.A.L. partner Jan Burch. "The Augusta Lynx will continue to become even more involved in the CSRA."

The jerseys were donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Augusta by G.O.A.L. for the auction.

The Lynx would like to extend its thanks to those who participated in and helped run the auction.

Augusta is back to action tonight against the Charlotte Checkers at 7:35 pm, with tickets on sale at the James Brown Arena box office. Seats are $11, $15, and $18, with discounts available for students, seniors, and military personnel.
