Game three of a three-game series (Victoria leads 2-0)

LAST GAME vs Stockton: The Thunder returned for game two of the series and rippled the mesh first with a goal from Troy Bodie, but Victoria followed with five unanswered goals over three periods to lift the home crowd at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

Paul Ballantyne snuck in his first goal with the Salmon Kings and 13 seconds later F.P. Guenette fed Gustav Engman from a faceoff in Stockton territory for a two-goal advantage.

In the second period, Marc-Andre Bernier posted his 13th goal of the season in a 2-on-1 rush. The Salmon Kings notched two goals in consecutive powerplay attempts in the third period. In the 5-on-3 advantage, Wes Goldie flipped the puck over Goaltender Devan Dubnyk for his 30th goal of the season, and in the following 5-on-4 series, Guenette finished a pass from Milan Gajic for the four-goal Victoria lead.

Mike Lalonde and Jim Dahl gave Stockton a spark in the third and scored two goals within one and a half minutes to close the gap, but Victoria Netminder Julien Ellis stood strong and Kiel McLeod threw in an empty-net goal in the final minutes.
