
Love for Lokomotiv Starts Thursday

Cedar Park, TX - The Texas Stars Foundation announced on Thursday, the players' wives and girlfriends will be selling "Love for Lokomotiv" bracelets at home games during the month of November.
On September 7, 2011, a plane carrying the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl hockey team of the Kontinental Hockey League crashed in Central Russia. In all, 44 lives were lost, affecting many members of the professional hockey community. All proceeds from the bracelet sales will go to the families of the victims. Defenseman Karlis Skrastins, who played for Dallas from 2009-11, was one of the players lost in the plane crash.
The Texas Stars wives and girlfriends will honor the victims of the Lokomotiv hockey team by selling remembrance bracelets. All funds raised will directly benefit the families of the Lokomotiv team. Please stop by the Texas Stars Foundation table on the concourse during the month of November to show your support and purchase a bracelet.

Texas returns home on Thursday, November 3rd for a 7:30 P.M. faceoff against the Toronto Marlies. Thursday is a 3-2-1 night, featuring $3 domestic drafts, $2 sodas, and $1 hot dogs.
