Winnipeg Jets Jets Recall Festerling & Flood from IceCaps;

The Winnipeg Jets today announced today they have recalled defencemen Brett Festerling and Mark Flood from the St. John's IceCaps. The team also announced they have played Chris Mason on the Injured Reserve List, retroactive to Oct. 27, with a lower body injury.

Festerling, 25, has played in 11 games with the IceCaps this season recording four points (1g, 3a) along with six penalty minutes. The Prince George, BC native has played in a career total 83 NHL games, all with Anaheim, for a total of eight points (0g, 8a) and 33 penalty minutes.

Flood, 27, has also appeared in 11 games with the IceCaps this season recording seven points (1g, 7a) and four penalty minutes. He currently leads St. John's with 34 shots on goal. In 2009-10, the right-handed defenceman played in six games with the New York Islanders earning an assist.

Mason, 35, has appeared in four games with the Jets this season recording a 1-2-0 record, 2.68 goals against average and .893 save percentage. The Red Deer, AB native has appeared in a career total 290 NHL games between Winnipeg, St. Louis and Nashville, with an overall 129-101-1-29 record, 2.63 goals against average and .911 save percentage.
