Wheeling Nailers News Release
WHEELING, WV ¬" The Wheeling Nailers announced today, team captain Andrew Lord has been loaned to the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League.
Lord joins the Edmonton Oilers farm team leading the Nailers in penalty minutes (74) and game winning goals (3) while also standing in third place on the team in points (19). Lord played in two games earlier this season with the Milwaukee Admirals amassing 5 penalty minutes. He is in his third season with the Nailers, serving his second as team captain.
The Nailers return to WesBanco Arena on Saturday January 8th when they host the Reading Royals. Game time is set for 7:35 PM. The 1st 1,000 kids 14 and under will receive a free Nailers back pack courtesy of BB&T Bank.
