In the second inning solo home runs from LF Jonathan Galvez and RF Jared King gave the B-Mets a 3-0 advantage. Bowie had chances to rally early but left a runner in scoring position in three of the first four innings.
In the fifth inning, the B-Mets opened the game up. Bierman walked the leadoff hitter on five pitches. Consecutive groundballs ended in errors following - one on an errant flip from SS Ozzie Martinez and another on a missed catch by 2B Corban Joseph. Binghamton made Bowie pay as the following hitter, Rodriguez hit his league leading 17th home run with a grand slam to left field. The B-Mets had a 7-0 lead.
Doubles by 1B Trey Mancini and DH Brandon Snyder provided a run in the sixth inning. Both hitter finished the game with two hits. 3B Drew Dosch scored on an RBI-single from Martinez in the seventh. The Baysox got scoreless innings in relief from Tim Berry and Marcel Prado. RHP Jason Garcia allowed a run on two hits in an inning.
