Tonight, the SeaWolves look for a three-game winnings streak as they return home to begin a six-game homestand and three-game series against the Portland Sea Dogs (Bostom Red Sox) at Jerry Uht Park...The SeaWolves finished a four-game series at New Britain, spitting the set with the Rock Cats. Erie took down the Cats 7-1 on Sunday behind a three-homer performance from JaCoby Jones... Tonight, RHP Michael Fulmer makes his 17th start of the season, third against the Sea Dogs and first as a member of the Tigers organization. Has posted a 2-0 record and 1.46 ERA in his two starts against the Sea Dogs this season. Fulmer earned a win, his second straight, in his last start against New Britain on July 28. In the game, he tossed six shutout innings, allowing three hits with no walks and nine strikeouts. It was the second straight nine strikeout performance for Fulmer... RHP Mike McCarthy takes the mound for the Sea Dogs making his 24th appearance, 13th start and first appearance against the SeaWolves. McCarthy took a no-decision in his last start against Trenton on July 29. In the game, he allowed two runs on five hits with two walks and three strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work. In 12 starts this season, McCarthy is 4-4 with a 4.34 ERA.
