
Lightning Re-Assign Lascek to Norfolk from Mississippi

NORFOLK , VA - The Tampa Bay Lightning have re -assigned forward Stanislav Lascek ("STAN-ih-slahv LA-shihk") to the Norfolk Admirals from the Mississippi Sea Wolves. Lascek will join the Admirals in Hershey as Norfolk prepares for tonight's contest against the Bears.
Lascek, a 6-foot-0, 195-pound forward, skated in 13 games with the Sea Wolves after recovering from an injury sustained at Admirals training camp earlier this season. He has scored four goals and added eight assists with four penalty minutes in Mississippi. Lascek's 0.92 points-per-game leads the Sea Wolves and his +3 rating is tied for the team lead.
The 21-year-old Martin, Slovak Republic, native is in his second professional season. He skated in 29 games for the AHL's Springfield Falcons in 2006-07, netting two goals and two assists with 12 penalty minutes. He also appeared in 25 games with the Johnstown Chiefs, scoring 12 goals and 15 assists with 26 penalty minutes.
The Lightning's fifth-round choice (133rd overall) in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft skated in 176 games with the Chicoutimi Sagueneens of the QMJHL, scoring 82 goals and 200 assists in the process. He led Chicoutimi with 135 points and 88 assists in his final season of junior hockey in 2005-06.
The Admirals and Hershey Bears will complete a home-and-home set tonight at Giant Center. The puck drops at 7:00 p.m.
