Saskatoon Blades News Release

Blades defenceman Libor Hajek has been selected to play on Team Orr for the 2016 BMO CHL/NHL Top Prospects game on January 28th in Vancouver.

Hajek was the 2nd overall pick in the 2015 CHL Import Draft out of Brno, Czech Republic. The 6'1", 198lb defenceman has 3G and 14A in 38 games so far this season.

Earlier this season, Hajek was ranked in the Top 30 for the 2016 NHL Draft by multiple sources including Damien Cox from Sportsnet, Craig Button from TSN, as well as other independent scouting services.

The game, which is coached by hockey legends Bobby Orr and Don Cherry, is a great chance for draft eligibles to showcase their talents to NHL scouts. In previous years, Duncan Siemens, and Devin Setoguchi have represented the Blades at this event.

Congratulations Libor on this great achievement!
