January 7, 2016 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Tri-City Americans News Release
KENNEWICK, WA - Tri-City Americans Governor/General Manager Bob Tory announced today 19-year-old forward Taylor Vickerman will not play the remainder of the season due to injuries.
Vickerman, a native of Kennewick, WA, was acquired by the Americans before the 2013-14 season in a trade with Vancouver. He played in 157 career games and scored 15 goals and 22 assists, which includes 11 goals and 17 assists in 105 games for Tri-City. Last season, Vickerman was named the WHL's Humanitarian of the Year for his involvement in the community. He earned the team's offseason fitness award and was named an alternative captain before this season began.
"Vickerman is done for the season due to an accumulation of injuries," Tory stated. "We wish him all the best and hope that he can resume playing next season."
