Following a day off, the IronPigs (53-63) play Game 1 of a three-game series against the fifth-place Syracuse Chiefs (50-67) at NBT Bank Stadium... With a 9-0 win Sunday night in Columbus, the Pigs won the series at Huntington Park, 2-1, and improved to 5-2 on this season-long, 10-game road trip. The Pigs have won 24 of their last 39 affairs and sport the IL's second-best record (31-21) since June 14... The Chiefs -- Washington's top affiliate -- won 3-1 on Sunday to sweep a four-game series in Pawtucket. The Chiefs have won a season-high, seven-consecutive games (all against the Paw Sox) -- their longest winning streak since a 2014 season-high, eight-gamer from June 17-24... The Pigs took the last series in the match-up, 2-1, from July 24-26 at Coca-Cola Park. They also swept the only series at NBT Bank Stadium this season -- a three-game set May 18-20.

RHP Sean O'Sullivan (1-1, 4.70) will start for LHV against RHP Taylor Jordan (4-4, 2.46).
