Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (20-34) next play Game 1 of a four-game series against the West Division's first-place Indianapolis Indians (32-22) at Coca-Cola Park... With two losses (7-4, 3-2) last night to Rochester to start their six-game homestand, the Pigs were swept in the doubleheader and in the two-game series against the Red Wings. Although the Pigs have dropped eight of their 10 eight affairs, they're still .500 (14-14) since starting the season at 6-20 through May 4... The Indians -- Pittsburgh's top affiliate -- shutout the Bisons 3-0 last night to take the three-game series in Buffalo, 2-1. The Indians, who own the best record in the IL and the third best mark in Triple-A, are 10-4 since May 20... The Indians swept the Pigs in a three-game series in the first meeting of 2015 from May 1-3 -- their first-ever sweep of Lehigh Valley -- and has won nine of the last 10 contests against the Pigs dating back to June 8, 2014.
LHP Anthony Vasquez (2-1, 2.51) will start for LHV against RHP Wilfredo Boscan (2-1, 3.89).
