With a focus on summertime, the Toledo Mud Hens will host its second Craft Beer Tasting event of the season on Friday, June 19 from 6-8 p.m. at Fifth Third Field, presented by WIOT. Sample a variety of beers and enjoy an All-American all-you-can-eat buffet while watching the world famous Toledo Mud Hens!
There will be a dozen different selections from nine different breweries to taste:
Broken Barrel Brewing Co: Oculto American Lager
Frankenmuth: Belgian IPA
Goose Island: Summer Ale
Maumee Bay: Blackberry Belgian Wit, Lemon Saison
O'Fallon: Strawberry Best
Saugatuck: Mandarina IPA, Melon Baller Pale Ale
Summit: Organic Ale
Sweetwater: Waterkeeper Hefeweizen
Uncle John's Cider Mill: Apple Blueberry, Apple Pear
Tickets are $43 each, and $33 for designated drivers, which include admission to the Mud Hens game vs. Norfolk (first pitch at 7 p.m.), 15 2-ounce beer samples, a souvenir glass, an all-you-can-eat buffet, and a chance to win great prizes. The event runs from 6 until 8 p.m. in the Home Run Terrace, Section 120. If you already have a game ticket, you can add the beer tasting event package for $31, $21 for designated drivers.
This is the second of four beer tasting events for the 2015 Mud Hens season. Other beer tasting event dates are July 9 and August 14. Each event will feature a unique gift. Attend all four events to collect all four commemorative gifts! For tickets, call 419-725-4367 or order online.
