
Legends Roll Past Capitanes for Second Straight Win

Frisco, TX - The Texas Legends (4-5) earned their second straight win, completing a back-to-back sweep over the Mexico City Capitanes (4-5) with a 119-97 victory at Comerica Center.
After a competitive first quarter, the Legends pulled away behind a balanced attack and suffocating defense, outscoring Mexico City 66-48 in the second and third quarters. Texas shot 46.6% from the field and a sharp 41.7% from beyond the arc while holding the Capitanes to just 25.9% from deep.
Dalano Banton paced Texas with a season-high 32 points on 8-of-13 shooting, knocking down 4-of-6 from three and going a perfect 7-of-7 at the free throw line. Matthew Cleveland added 17 points and pulled down a game-high 13 rebounds, while Miles Kelly chipped in 22 points. Mark Armstrong tallied 13 points and dished out a team-high 8 assists.
Defensively, Jamarion Sharp made his presence felt with 8 blocks, 7 rebounds, and 5 steals in one of his most impactful performances of the season. Texas also forced 17 turnovers, converting them into 21 points.
Mexico City was led by Boo Buie III, who finished with 23 points and 6 assists. James Bouknight added 19 points and 9 rebounds, while RJ Melendez contributed 17 points and 6 boards.
The Legends now prepare to face the Capitanes for the third time in a row-this time on Mexico City's home floor. The two teams will square off on Monday, December 1, with tip-off set for 8:00 PM CT from Arena CDMX.
