Legends Finish Season with Win over Springfield

Frisco, TX - The Texas Legends, presented by Veracruz (visit Veracruz.mx), finished their season with two straight wins over the Springfield Armor at home.

The lead changed three times in the first quarter, with the ultimate advantage going to Springfield 30-28. Delonte West hit a jumper less than three minutes into the second to reclaim the lead and the Legends held tight to it through the end. Halftime showed the Legends up 64-58, and though they gained up to an 11 point advantage, the Armor kept it close and fought hard to the end.

Justin Dentmon led all scorers with 29 points and 5 rebounds, followed closely by Delonte West who posted a season-high in scoring and assists with 22 points and 9 assists. Dwayne Jones was the game's leading rebounder with 18 boards while also adding 8 points and 3 assists.

Springfield's Willie Reed posted the game's only double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds.
