TULSA, Okla., April 7, 2013 - The Tulsa 66ers will face the Canton Charge in the opening round of the NBA D-League playoffs, the league's office announced Sunday. The 66ers host Canton in Game 1 on Wednesday, April 10 at 7 p.m. CT inside the SpiritBank Event Center.

The Charge will host Game 2 on Friday, April 12 at 8:30 p.m. CT at the Canton Memorial Civic Center in Canton, Ohio. Game 3 (if necessary) will be played on Sunday, April 14 at 4 p.m. CT in Canton.

Tickets for Tulsa's home game start at just $11 and include a free hot dog and soft drink. Fans can be a part of the 66ers' postseason run by purchasing tickets on Tulsa66ers.com or by calling the 66ers ticket office at (918) 585-8444.

The NBA D-League uses a unique playoff format where the three division winners select their first round opponent from the teams ranked five through eight.

With the third pick of the "playoff opponent draft", the fourth-seeded Charge chose to face the seventh-seeded 66ers. Canton, the NBA D-League affiliate of the Cleveland Cavaliers, won the East Division title and was awarded the third choice by having the third-best record of division winners.

Tulsa is 1-2 against the Charge this season, topping Canton 99-91 at home on Dec. 22. The Charge won twice in Ohio the following week, defeating Tulsa 104-96 and 89-80.

This marks the third time in the past four years that the 66ers compete in the postseason. Tulsa is 4-1 all-time in the first round of the playoffs.
