NEW YORK - The eight-team field for the 2012-13 NBA Development League playoffs was set on Saturday with the Austin Toros (27-23), Bakersfield Jam (36-14), Canton Charge (30-20), Fort Wayne Mad Ants (27-23), Maine Red Claws (26-24), Rio Grande Valley Vipers (35-15), Santa Cruz Warriors (32-18) and Tulsa 66ers (27-23) advancing to the postseason.

The Jam, Charge, and Vipers finished the season atop the West, East and Central Divisions, respectively, while the remaining five teams earned "wild card" playoff bids.

The three Division Winners (Bakersfield, Rio Grande Valley and Canton) will once again select their first round playoff opponent among the four wild card teams with the worst regular season records. Santa Cruz advanced as the wild card team with the best regular season record and is ineligible to be selected by the Division Winners. The Warriors will play the remaining unselected wild card team in the first round of the 2013 NBA D-League postseason.

The 2013 NBA D-League playoffs will begin no earlier than Wednesday, April 10 with a full schedule to be announced on Sunday, April 7 following the pick-your-opponent selection teleconference.
