
Lee and Thompson go to Bridgeport, Titans sign three

TRENTON, NJ (December 17, 2005) - The Trenton Titans announced on Saturday that forwards Mark Lee and Chris Thompson have been recalled by the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Thompson, 27, has 5 penalty minutes in 5 games for the Sound Tigers. Now in his eighth season of pro hockey, Thompson has recorded 7 goals, 2 assists and 29 penalty minutes over 17 games with Trenton.
Lee, 21, has appeared in four games for Bridgeport, notching 4 penalty minutes. A second-year pro, Lee has also chipped in 2 goals, 3 assists and 12 penalty minutes in 10 games for Trenton.
In separate transactions, the Titans also announced that they have signed forwards Dan Fox, Jeff Schmidt and Jim Leger.
Fox, 25, has appeared in two games with Titans earlier this season. The native of Morrisville, PA compiled 86 points (50g, 36a) in 100 games over a four-year collegiate career at Lebanon Valley College.
Schmidt, 28, hails from Philadelphia, PA and has played in 100 games total in the Central Hockey League (CHL), ECHL and United Hockey League (UHL). A fifth-year pro, Schmidt has notched a goal and two assists in 15 games with Trenton (2001-04).
Leger, 29, is a six-year veteran who split last season with the August Lynx, Dayton Bombers and Idaho Steelheads. Originally from Saugus, Massachusetts, Leger has appeared in 268 total games in the American Hockey League (AHL), CHL and ECHL. Leger also skated for four years with the University of Maine and was a member of their 1998 NCAA Championship squad.
The Titans take on the Wheeling Nailers on Wednesday, December 21 at 7:00pm in their last game before the holiday break.
