Lambert Starts Rehab on Wednesday

(LAWRENCEVILLE, GA) - RHP Jimmy Lambert, who is currently on the Chicago White Sox 15-Day Injured List, will join the Charlotte Knights tonight in Lawrenceville, GA to begin a Major League Baseball Rehab Assignment. The Knights will continue a six-game road series against the Gwinnett Stripers tonight from Coolray Field. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. from Gwinnett County.
Lambert, 28, was placed on Chicago's injured list on May 29 (retroactive to May 28) with right ankle inflammation. He has appeared in 23 games this season with the White Sox (one start) and has gone 2-1 with a 5.91 ERA in 21.1 innings pitched. Last season, Lambert went 1-2 with a 3.26 ERA in 42 games with the White Sox over 47.0 innings pitched.
