
LAFC to Face Colorado on Saturday, May 14 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) looks to add to their league-leading win total when they visit the Colorado Rapids at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Saturday, May 14 at 12:30 p.m. PT. (TV: Univision / TUDN; Radio: 710 AM ESPN/ESPN app and 980 AM La Mera La Mera)
LAFC enters the match up with a 7-1-2 (23 points) record after a 2-2 tie against Philadelphia on Saturday, May 7 at Banc of California Stadium.
Saturday's contest is the second meeting between the two sides in 2022. Carlos Vela kicked off the season with a hat trick against the Rapids in the season opening match.
NEWS & NOTES:
A goal or assist by Carlos Vela on Saturday will give him 100 career combined goals + assists in 97 MLS regular season games. He will be the third fastest player in MLS history to record 100 goals and assists.
LAFC hits the road for a 5th time this season to take on the Colorado Rapids. The Black & Gold have claimed nine of 12 road points possible in their last four away matches and hold a 3-1-0 (W-L-T) record on the road.
Saturday's contest is LAFC midfielder Kellyn Acosta's first game at Dick's Sporting Goods Park since his trade from Colorado to LAFC on January 14, 2022.
