Kyle Rogers (8.17 ERA) continued to struggle, allowing four runs on three hits and four walks in 5.2 innings, but Mike Padgett (2.12) held the Swing scoreless over the next 2.1, allowing Clinton to battle their way to a 7-4 lead going into the ninth when Padgett and Matt Farnum combined to yield four runs that cost the LumberKings a win.
Emerson Frostad led the way for the Clinton lineup, gong 3-3 with a double and a walk to drive in two and Lizahio Baez went 2-4 with a double to plate one.
