
Bees Activate Begnaud

Burlington Bees News Release
Burlington, IA (May 9, 2005) - The Kansas City Royals have activated Burlington Bees pitcher Rusty Begnaud from the disabled list. Begnaud suffered a severely sprained right ankle attempting to field a ball on the mound in game two of a double-header against Cedar Rapids at Community Field on April 14th and has been disabled since the 16th. He will work out of the bullpen and is available in tonight's game against the Kernels at Veterans Memorial Stadium at 6:30.
