Kvapil to Norfolk; Egener to Mississippi

NORFOLK - Today, Norfolk Admirals General Manager Claude Loiselle announced that right wing Marek Kvapil has been reassigned to the Admirals from the ECHL's Mississippi Sea Wolves. In addition, forward Mike Egener has been reassigned to the Sea Wolves from the Admirals.

Kvapil, 5'10" and 188 pounds, had appeared in Norfolk's first six games of the season, registering two assists and a +1 rating. After being assigned to Mississippi on October 22, the third-year pro notched three goals and six assists for nine points and a +1 rating.

Egener, 6'3" and 213 pounds, appeared in six games with the Admirals with a goal and an assist. He had returned to the Admirals lineup last Friday following injuries that had sidelined him for 33 games.

The Admirals continue a five-game homestand at Scope this week with three games. The Admirals will entertain Matt Keith and the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Wednesday night. On Friday and Saturday, Dennis Bonvie and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins will invade Scope. Game time for all Admirals home contests is 7:15 p.m.
