
FSN Houston to air three Aeros games

HOUSTON, Texas - The Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL) have announced today that the team will have three games aired live on Fox Sports Net (FSN) Houston. The first game is this Friday, January 18th against the Toronto Marlies at Toyota Center. Coverage will begin at 7:30 p.m. CST.
FSN Houston will also air the Aeros game against their I-10 rival, the San Antonio Rampage, on Saturday, January, 26th beginning at 7:30 p.m. CST and their final game will be on Friday, March 7th against the Hartford Wolfpack also beginning at 7:30 p.m. CST. All three games will air on FSN Houston which reaches more than 2.5 million homes in Houston and surrounding communities. FSN Houston is on Comcast channel 37, DirecTV channel 639 and Dish Network channel 416.
The games will also be aired via tape delay on FSN North (Minnesota). The Aeros' January 18 game against the Toronto Marlies will be aired on FSN North on Thursday, January 24th. The January 26th game against the San Antonio Rampage will be aired on FSN North on Wednesday, February 6th, and the final game against the Hartford Wolfpack will be tape delayed by FSN North on Monday, March 10th. All tape delayed games on FSN North will be aired at 7:00 p.m. CST.
Jason Shaver will handle the play-by-play for all of the games and former Aeros' player and assistant coach Cam Stewart will provide color commentary. The games will be simulcast on the Aeros' flagship station 1070 KNTH-AM or online at Aeros.com.
The Houston Aeros are currently tied for fourth place in the AHL's West Division. The first 3,000 fans to Friday's game against the Toronto Marlies will be given the second of a three-part series of pucks commemorating Houston hockey arenas.
