(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm of the ECHL announced today that the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League have recalled goaltender Logan Koopmans from Toledo, and assigned goaltender Drew MacIntyre to the Storm.

In those contests, Koopmans has a record of 11-9-1 with a 2.95 goals against average and a .903 save percentage. Logan also has collected two shutouts this season. His goals against average tied David Goverde for the best season mark in Storm history with a minimum of 10 appearances (Goverde did it in the 1996-97 season). In his professional debut, Drew made 52 saves in an overtime 2-1 win at Peoria. This season with the Griffins, Drew has a 6-5-0 record, a 2.57 GAA, and a .908 SVP. He also collected his first professional shutout, January 9th, 4-0 over Cleveland.

Toledo is in Peoria this Friday and Saturday night. The Storm return home Friday March 11th against the Peoria Rivermen. Detroit Red Wing Darren McCarty and his band "Grinder" will play a post-game concert that night. Toledo Hockey...A History of Champions!
