
South Carolina's Gomez Suspended Two Games, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Tuesday that it has suspended South Carolina left wing Robin Gomez for two games and fined him an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #730 against Charlotte on February 26.
At 12:19 of the second period, Gomez was assessed a game misconduct under Rule 56(c) - Fighting off the Playing Surface.
Gomez is suspended two games under Rule 33A Supplemental Discipline.
Gomez missed South Carolina's game at Gwinnett (Feb. 27) and will miss South Carolina's game at Pee Dee (Mar. 5).
