David Bararuk Reassigned from Houston

Lafayette, LA – The Houston Aeros today announced the team has reassigned center David Bararuk to the Louisiana IceGators. Bararuk will rejoin the team in time for Wednesday night's contest with the Florida Everblades.

Since being recalled by the Aeros on February 3rd, Bararuk played in 7 games in the AHL scoring one goal and earning a +/- rating of +1. At the time of his call up, Bararuk was second in scoring on the IceGators with 36 points. He was tied for the team lead with 22 assists and second in goal production with 14.

Bararuk spent the 2004-05 pre-season with the Aeros and had two points (1-1=2) in three games. The 6-foot, 180-pounder was Dallas' fifth-round pick (No. 147 overall) in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. The 6'0", 180lb.forward spent most of his rookie 2003-04 campaign in the AHL with Utah, totaling 12 points (5-7=12) in 52 games. He also tallied 15 regular-season points (7-8=15) in 16 games with ECHL Idaho, and had 14 points (5-9=14) as the Steelheads won the Kelly Cup

The IceGators next game is tomorrow night when Louisiana hosts the Florida Everblades at 7:05pm. The game audio will be available on the internet through www.IceGators.com, in addition to the audio feed, a videocast of the game is available via the B2-Network.
