The Tucson Padres begin an eight-game homestand Thursday, April 8 against the New Orleans Zephyrs (Marlins affiliate) and Oklahoma City RedHawks (Astros affiliate). The Padres are returning home in the middle of a pennant race. Entering Tuesday's game, the Padres are in third place, only three games behind two teams tied for first-place, Las Vegas and Sacramento.

Here is a list of upcoming promotions at Kino Stadium:

THURSDAY, AUGUST 8 - 7:05 pm BUDWEISER TOROS THIRSTY THURSDAY presented by Golden Eagle Distributors, KMSB Fox 11, K-HIT, La Poderosa and the Tucson Weekly - The 12 oz Budweiser, Bud Light and Coca-Cola products will go on sale for only $1.00 when the gates open at 6:00 pm. The dollar beer special ends at 9:00 pm. There is a $2.50 special for 16oz craft beers from Odell and Barrio Breweries. All college students will be admitted for $4.00 with a school ID. The Padres will wear Toros uniforms from the 90's at all four remaining Thursday home game games. It's also Gallo Barefoot Night in the Park - There will be wine sampling of Barefoot Refresh wine until 9:00 pm. Barefoot will also give away some premium items.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 9 - 7:05 pm KIDS FREE FRIDAY - All kids ages 12 & under get in absolutely FREE AND receive a voucher for a free hot dog and a soft drink. Padres players will sign autographs and pose for pictures for the kids from 6:00 - 6:30. All kids arriving before 6:30 will get a FREE set of 2013 Tucson Padres baseball cards. After the game, all kids can run the bases.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 10 - 7:05 pm FIELD OF DREAMS CAR GIVEAWAY - One lucky fan will win their choice of a quality pre-owned 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier from the Jim Click Automotive Team car OR $3,000 in cash! All fans ages 17 & older get a lucky number ticket when they enter. Qualifying numbers will be drawn all night. 49 other contestants will qualify and win great prizes that are each valued at over $100. They include dinners, a San Diego Padres VIP trip (game tickets, travel funds and hotel), gift certificates and more - $25,000 worth of prizes!

SUNDAY, AUGUST 11 - 7:05 pm CHASE MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT / BARK IN THE PARK presented by Chase, PointGuardU.com and KIIM FM- All military personnel (active, retired and veterans) and a guest will be admitted for FREE with a Military ID compliments of Chase and the Jim Click Automotive Group. The Military ID will be presented at the Padres Box Office. Dogs will also be admitted free with their owners, with the first 100 dogs receiving a free Frisbee, courtesy of PointGuardU.com. Fans may sit on the berm or in their seats with their four-legged friends.

MONDAY, AUGUST 12 - 7:05 pm FAMILY FOUR-PACK NIGHT - A group or family of four can get four box seats, four hot dogs and four soft drinks FOR ONLY $20 - a $70 value! Any tickets purchased after four will be sold at a $5.00 price.
