Kernels Playoff Tickets on Sale August 12th

Cedar Rapids Kernels News Release
Cedar Rapids, IA - Individual game tickets for the Cedar Rapids Kernels first round playoff game on Thursday, September 5th go on sale to the general pubic at 10 am on Monday, August 12th. The Kernels qualified for the Midwest League Playoffs as the first half wild card team and will host games two and three (if necessary) in the first round against a yet to be determined opponent.
The Kernels are taking reservations now for the popular group areas including the Miller Mezzanine, Arctic Insulation Party Plaza and Plumbers and Pipefitters Pavilion as well as nightly Diamond Suites. The Kernels continue a six game home stand Saturday against the Clinton Lumberkings at 6:35 pm. It's Cyclone Sports Night as the Kernels will wear special Iowa State jerseys that will be sold during the game via a silent auction and any fan wearing Iowa State apparel to the game can receive discounted tickets. Plus, after the game enjoy the Kernels FIREWORKS spectacular. The current home stand continues through Monday, July 29th.
Morgan Hawk brings you all of the play-by-play on the radio home of Kernels baseball, 1450 KMRY AM and 93.1 KMRY FM. Fans may listen on-line at www.kmryradio.com, or www.kernels.com .
Tickets may be purchased on-line at www.kernels.com, or by calling the Kernels Ticket Office at 896-7560. Ticket office hours are 10 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, and 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday.
