Today's Game: The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Lansing Lugnuts (affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays) in the rubber match of a three-game series.
Last Game: Dayton defeated Lansing 8-0 on Thursday to even the series at one win apiece.
MLB Rehabilitation Assignments: Ryan Ludwick will make his third and final appearance for the Dragons tonight. He is the second Reds player to join the Dragons this season on a rehab assignment after Johnny Cueto made two starts for the Dragons in May.
Individual Notes
- Seth Mejias-Brean is 27 for 56, .482 over his last 14 games to raise his average from .266 to .300. From July 10-July 25, Mejias-Brean leads all of professional baseball in hits with 27 and is second in batting average at .482. He has a nine-game hitting streak. Over his last seven games, he has hit four home runs with 13 RBI. He leads the team and ranks second in the Midwest League in second half batting average at .364. Since May 12, he is batting .347 in 64 games to rank second in the league to Leonardo Reginato of BG (.355).
