Fast Forward
Closing out their preseason schedule, the K-Wings will travel to Allen County Memorial Coliseum to tonight, Monday, October 13th to battle the Fort Wayne Komets.
Kalamazoo's regular season will commence this Friday, October 17th with a 7:05 p.m. face-off at the First Arena in Elmira, New York against the Elmira Jackals.
The K-Wings will finish the week on Saturday, October 18th with a 7:05 p.m. encounter against the Jackals. Saturday will the second game of a three-game road trip for Kalamazoo. The game will also be the second of four regular season meetings between the teams and the last at the First Arena.

Media Luncheon
The K-Wings will host their annual Media Luncheon this Wednesday, October 15th. The gathering will be held at 1 p.m. at Old Burdick's Wings West and it is open to the public.
Rosters Due Wednesday
ECHL training will continue this week. Teams will turn in their regular season rosters to the ECHL on Wednesday afternoon.
Starting on the Road
Kalamazoo will begin the regular season away from home. Starting this Friday, October 17th against the Elmira Jackals, the K-Wings will commence a three-game road swing.

So far during the preseason the K-Wings have scored seven goals. All seven tallies have been registered by a different player.
The Obscure Stat of the Week
Since joining the ECHL, the K-Wings have been great on opening night. Kalamazoo is 4-1-0-0 in their ECHL season opening games, outscoring their opponents 18-6 in those games.
