
Defense Strengthens with Addition of Humphries

Greenville, SC - The Greenville Road Warriors, proud ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers and the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack, today announced defenseman Spencer Humphries has been added to the team's Training Camp Roster. In addition, forward Shawn Skelly and defenseman Andrew Secco have been released.
Humphries, 22, began the 2014-15 preseason in Training Camp with the Vancouver Canucks and the AHL's Utica Comets. Last season, the second-year pro played 17 games in Prague with Lev Praha of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). A native of Tsawwassen, British Columbia, Humphries spent five seasons in the Western Hockey League (WHL) from 2008-2013. Over 194 games, he earned 93 points (17g, 76a) with the Tri-City Americans and Calgary Hitmen. Humphries was drafted in the fifth round (#164 overall) by Traktor Chelyabinski in the 2012 KHL Draft.

Training Camp continues on Tuesday with a 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. practice at the Official Practice Facility of the Road Warriors, The Pavilion in Taylors, South Carolina. All sessions are open to the public free of charge, while players and coaches will be available to the media following each session.
