Nailers Announce Schedule Changes
October 13, 2014 - ECHL (ECHL)
Wheeling Nailers News Release
WHEELING, WV- The Wheeling Nailers, proud ECHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Montreal Canadiens, have announced a set of changes to their 2014-15 regular season schedule. Wheeling will play four road games against the Brampton Beast, while the home schedule does not feature any changes.
Last week, the ECHL announced that seven new teams joined the league from the Central Hockey League - Allen, Brampton, Missouri, Quad City, Rapid City, Tulsa, and Wichita. Out of those seven, the Nailers will get to face the Brampton Beast in 2014-15, making their way to Powerade Centre for four games. The first contest between Wheeling and Brampton takes place on Sunday, December 7th, when the Nailers were originally scheduled to visit the Elmira Jackals. Then, in January, the Nailers will travel across the border one more time, facing off with the Beast on Friday the 16th, Saturday the 17th, and Sunday the 18th. Those three games replace the originally scheduled battles against the Florida Everblades and Orlando Solar Bears in the Sunshine State.
The start times for the four games are as follows: December 7th at 2:00, January 16th at 7:30, January 17th at 7:00, January 18th at 2:00.
The Nailers will begin the 2014-15 regular season on Saturday night, when they play host to the Reading Royals at 7:35. For tickets and more information, call (304) 234-GOAL, or log on to wheelingnailers.com.
