Oilers Reveal 2014-15 Schedule Changes

TULSA, OK - The Tulsa Oilers of the ECHL released their revised 2014-15 regular season schedule on Monday and added six dates, three at home and three on the road, for a total of 72 games.

The Oilers three new home games are slated for:

Tuesday, November 18 at 7:05 p.m. vs. Wichita Thunder

Wednesday, December 10 at 7:05 p.m. vs. Wichita Thunder

Sunday, January 4 at 4:05 p.m. vs. Rapid City Rush

A home contest against the Missouri Mavericks, originally scheduled for Friday, November 7, has been moved to Tuesday, November 4 at 7:05 p.m.

Tulsa's three additional road games have been tacked on to the end of the season. The Oilers will travel to Wichita on Wednesday, April 8 and Friday, April 10 before concluding their first season in the ECHL on Saturday, April 11 with a visit to the Quad City Mallards.

The only games the Oilers will play against non-Central Division opponents occur in mid-January. In the original schedule, Tulsa was slated to visit the Brampton Beast for three games on January 16, 17, and 19. The new schedule calls for the Oilers to make the long journey to Florida where they will face off against the Florida Everblades on Wednesday, January 14, clash with the Orlando Solar Bears on Thursday, January 15 and conclude the trip with another tilt against the Everblades on Friday, January 16.

The Oilers begin their inaugural season of ECHL hockey on Friday, October 24 on the road against the Allen Americans. Tulsa's home opener remains set for Sunday, October 26 at 4:05 p.m. against the rival Wichita Thunder.

The Oilers will play their one and only preseason contest on Tuesday, October 14 at the Allen Event Center at 7:05 p.m. against the Americans. Tulsa training camp continues through Thursday with the ECHL regular season set to begin on Friday, October 17.
