TONIGHT: The Mudcats begin a three game road trip tonight with game one of a three game series versus the Potomac Nationals at Northwest Federal Field at Pftizner Stadium. Tonight's game marks the first of only six meetings between the two teams this season.

ICYMI: Weston Wilson hit his team leading 13th home run of the season and pitchers Cam Roegner, Jorge Ortega, Daniel Brown and Luke Barker combined on an eight hit shutout as the Mudcats defeated the Pelicans 1-0 on Thursday night at Five County Stadium.

ABOUT THE LAST ONE: Cam Roegner, Jorge Ortega, Daniel Brown and Luke Barker combined on an eight hit shutout of the Pelicans in last night's 1-0 series finale victory. The shutout was Carolina's ninth of the season, but their first since May 31 when Marcos Diplan, Chase Williams, Phil Bickford and Luke Barker combined on a four hit shutout of the Hillcats in Lynchburg. The Mudcats are 4th in the CL in most shutout wins this season (9).

WHERE THEY RANK: LHP Cam Roegner is currently 1st in the Carolina League in earned run average (2.16), 3rd in innings pitched (108.1), tied for 3rd in wins (8), tied for 2nd in WHIP (1.15) and 3rd among starters in fewest baserunners/9ip (10.63)... RHP Conor Harber is currently 2nd in the Carolina League in earned run average (2.18) and 1st in batting average against (.209)... RHP Braden Webb is currently 6th in the CL in strikeouts (93).
