Jim Campbell Reassigned To Springfield

BRIDGEPORT, CT - The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have announced right wing Jim Campbell has been reassigned to the Springfield Falcons.

Campbell, who signed as a free agent with the Islanders last summer, had eight goals, 12 assists, 20 points and 64 penalty minutes in 46 games with the Sound Tigers this season.

The Sound Tigers will visit the Hartford Wolf Pack tonight at 7:05 p.m. and the Albany River Rats tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. and return home to host the Portland Pirates this Sunday at 4:05 p.m. All games will be web cast live at www.soundtigers.com. Tonight's game will also be broadcast live on 600 WICC-AM.
