
Jets Acquire Alex Broadhurst from the Columbus Blue Jackets

WINNIPEG - The Winnipeg Jets announced today they have acquired forward Alex Broadhurst from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for future considerations. He will remain with the AHL's Cleveland Monsters.
Broadhurst, 25, made his NHL debut with the Blue Jackets last season, appearing in two games. The product of New Lenox, Ill. has 29 points (8G, 21A) in 48 games with the AHL's Cleveland Monsters this season. In 330 career AHL games with Cleveland and Rockford Icehogs, he has 190 points (70G, 120A).
Broadhurst was selected by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the seventh round (199th overall) in the 2011 NHL Draft.
