Flames Acquire Defenseman Oscar Fantenberg

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announce today that they have acquired defenseman Oscar Fantenberg from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for a conditional 4th round pick in 2020.
Fantenberg, a native of Ljungby, Sweden, is currently in his first full season with the Los Angeles Kings. He has played in 46 games with the Kings averaging 16:03 of ice time per game. The 27-year-old blue-liner has 65 blocked shots and 72 hits along with a pair of goals and an assist this season.
