
Jersey Auction a Hit

Louisville Bats News Release
GREAT SUCCESS: The online auction for the camouflage jerseys the Louisville Bats wore June 12 ended last evening at midnight. The total amount raised for the jerseys was $4639.10 of which all the proceeds will go to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. The highest bid was for Mark Bellhorn's jersey with a final bid of $810. The next highest was Joey Votto's at $360. All 30 of the jerseys received multiple bids. The Special Operations Warrior Foundation provides free college scholarship grants, along with financial aid and educational counseling, to the children of Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps Special Operations personnel who were killed in an operational mission or training accident.
