Tucson, AZ - Minor League Baseball has announced that Tucson Sidewinders First Baseman Conor Jackson has been selected to the seventh annual XM Satellite Radio All-Star Futures Game. Jackson will be a member of the United States team for the second time in just his second full professional season in baseball.

Jackson, 23, currently leads all qualifying minor leaguers with a .383 (95-for-248) batting average and paces the PCL in hits (95), doubles (29), and on-base percentage (.470). In last year's Futures Games Jackson doubled and scored in United States team's 4-3 victory over the World squad. Fellow Diamondbacks farmhand Catcher Miguel Montero, who will play for the World team, will join Jackson at this year's Futures Game. Current Diamondbacks First Basemen Chad Tracy was the last Sidewinder to participate in the Futures Game during the 2003 season.

The XM Satellite Radio All-Star Futures Game will be played July 10 at Comerica Park in Detroit. The game will be broadcast on ESPN at 3 p.m. CST and may also be heard on MLB Radio.
