Jackals Receive Holt, Spencer From Binghamton

The Elmira Jackals announced on Friday that they have received goaltender Chris Holt and left winger Tim Spencer on a loan from their AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators. The Jackals host the Wheeling Nailers on Friday at 7:35 p.m. at First Arena.

This is Holt's third stint with the Jackals this season. The Vancouver, British Columbia native is 7-4-1-0 with Elmira in 2009-2010, with an.897 save percentage and a 3.00 goals-against average. In his last start for the Jackals on Dec. 29 in a 7-1 win at Reading, Holt made 34 saves on 35 shots before being recalled the next day by the B-Sens. With Binghamton this season, Holt is 8-7-0-0 with three shutouts, a.906 save percentage, and a 2.95 goals-against average.

Spencer has participated in two games with the Jackals this season, collecting 13 penalty minutes. He has one goal with Binghamton and 131 penalty minutes in 2009-2010.
