IN JUST A FEW HOURS...
The Elmira Jackals will look to end a four-game home stand on a good note, as they host the Wheeling Nailers at First Arena at 7:35 p.m.
Just one point separates the Jackals from the top spot in the American East Division, the closest the Jackals have been to first place since early December. The division-leading Reading Royals are at Trenton tonight, taking on the Devils. The Jackals and Royals square off on Saturday night in Reading, Pa.
Over the last five games, the Jackals have outscored their opponents 34-15, and have gained points in each of those five games.
The Jackals are trying to snap a three-game losing streak to the Nailers, and could be going up against their former goaltender, Michael-Lee Teslak, on Friday night.
