
Goaltender Ryan Nie Loaned to the Houston Aeros

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce goaltender Ryan Nie has been loaned to the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League.
In 21 appearances, Nie has earned a record of 13-7-1-0 and has a goals against average of 2.80 and a save percentage of 0.910.
This is the third-time this season that Nie has been loaned to an AHL team. Earlier this season, Nie spent time with the Portland Pirates and Worcester Sharks.
Nie becomes the 23rd call-up from the K-Wings this season to play in the AHL.
The K-Wings will conclude their three-game home stand tonight, Friday, February 5th with a 7:30 p.m. face-off versus the Cincinnati Cyclones on Frugal Fan Friday, which features $1 beers and $1 hot dogs.
