Curadeau Named Assistant Captain

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce forward Mathieu Curadeau has been named assistant captain.
Curadeau, who has been on the injured reserve since January 11th will return tonight for the K-Wings as they host the Cincinnati Cyclones at 7:30 p.m. at Wings Stadium.
In his first season with the K-Wings, Curadeau came to Kalamazoo after spending the past two seasons in the International Hockey League with the Fort Wayne Komets. A two-time Turner Cup champion with Fort Wayne, Curadeau also earned praise from the league, by being named to the All-Rookie Team.
Mathieu's talents have been noticed in the AHL, as the native of Montreal, Quebec has played in 19 games last season in the American Hockey League and has been loaned on two separate occasions this season to the AHL.
While supplies last, fans that come to tonight's contest will receive a FREE H1N1 Flu Shot. The Kalamazoo County Health & Community Services will be administrating the shots in Hospitality Hall.
This evening's encounter versus Cincinnati will conclude a three-game home stand for the K-Wings and face-off is slated for 7:30 p.m. Tonight is also be a Frugal Fan Friday, which features $1 beers and $1 hot dogs.
Single-game tickets for any regular season home game are currently on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office. Ticket Office hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. For more information, call Wings Stadium Ticket Office during regular business hours at (269) 345-5101.
