Jackals Add Skilled Forward

Elmira, NY- The Elmira Jackals, proud member of the ECHL, announced today that they have acquired forward Brandon Scero in a trade from the Utah Grizzlies.

Scero, the native of Canton, Michigan, has skated in eight games this season for the Grizzlies netting two (2) goals and adding three (3) assists for five (5) points. Last season after completing his senior season at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, the 6'0'' 200 pounder scored seven points in nine games for the Mississippi Sea Wolves.

"Brandon should add skill to our offense. He has always been a goal scorer and has continued in his early ECHL career. This trade gets us very close to our final roster." Said Jackals Head Coach Steve Martinson.

The Jackals are back in action tonight when the finish off the doubleheader in Cincinnati. The Jackals beat the Cyclones last night 3-2 in a shootout.
