South Carolina Stingrays (4-2-0) at Charlotte Checkers (5-3-1) 7 p.m. ET
- South Carolina has won the last three meetings to improve to 7-2-1 in their last 10 games against Charlotte.
- Checkers' Ryan Murphy has four assists in his last three games and is tied for second on the team with five assists.
- Stingrays have outscored their opponents 9-1 in the first period.
- Charlotte's Jeff Miles has three power-play goals in his last four games.

Dayton Bombers (4-2-1) at Trenton Devils (2-6-1) 7 p.m. ET
- Dayton's Paul Drew made 20 saves and picked up his first win, 4-3 at Trenton, in his first pro start on Friday.
- Trenton's Ryan Gunderson leads ECHL defensemen with nine power-play points and seven power-play assists.
- Bombers' Mike McLean has a two-game goal streak (3g) and a two-game point streak (3g-1a).
- Devils' Eric Castonguay has an eight-game point streak (4g-9a).

Reading Royals (3-6-0) at Johnstown Chiefs (6-3-0) 7:05 p.m. ET
- Shawn Snider leads the Royals against Johnstown with four assists and four points in two games.
- Johnstown rookie Jon Landry leads ECHL defensemen with four goals in nine games.
- Reading's Mac Faulkner has a two-game goal streak (2g) and leads the team with five goals.
- Chiefs' Kris Mayotte is 3-0-0 with a goals-against average of 1.96 and a save percentage of .926.

Gwinnett Gladiators (2-3-2) at Florida Everblades (5-2-1) 7:30 p.m. ET
- Yannick Tifu has three points (1g-2a) in his first two games with the Everblades.
- Gwinnett's Brandon Kaleniecki has three goals in his last four games.
- Florida's Anton Khudobin is 3-0-0 with a goals-against average of 2.00 in his last three starts.
- Gladiators lead the league with 41.43 shots per game.

Elmira Jackals (6-3-0) at Cincinnati Cyclones (3-3-3) 7:30 p.m. ET
- In their last three games the Jackals have back-to-back shootout wins and an overtime victory.
- Cincinnati is second in the league in scoring with 4.22 goals per game.
- Elmira rookie Mitch O'Keefe is 4-1-0 with two overtime wins and two shootout wins in his last five games.
- Cyclones' Barret Ehgoetz has a three-game assist streak (3a) and is tied for the team lead with eight assists.

Wheeling Nailers (5-0-3) at Mississippi Sea Wolves (4-4-1) 7 p.m. CT
- Mississippi's Ryan Cruthers is tied for third among rookies with six goals and is tied for sixth with nine points.
- Wheeling rookie Tommy Goebel leads the league with 17 points and is tied for second with 10 assists.
- Sea Wolves' Mike Wirll has a four-game assist streak (4a) and a five-game point streak (2g-4a).
- Nailers' Nick Johnson leads league rookies and is second among all players with nine goals in eight games.

Ontario Reign (4-4-1) at Utah Grizzlies (6-2-0) 7:05 p.m. MT
- Grizzlies have won their last four games by one-goal including 3-2 in a shootout over Ontario on Friday.
- Ontario rookie defenseman Dan Knapp has three assists in his last two games.
- Utah defenseman James Sanford has a two-game assist streak (2a) and a five-game point streak (1g-5a).
- Rookie Geoff Walker leads Ontario with 11 points (4g-7a) and he has three points (1g-2a) in his last two games.

Fresno Falcons (5-3-0) at Bakersfield Condors (2-5-1) 7 p.m. PT
- Falcons have won the first two meetings - 3-2 in a shootout at Bakersfield on Oct. 25 and 3-2 at Fresno on Oct. 24.
- Bakersfield's Mark Derlago has seven points (5g-2a) in his first four games.
- Fresno's Matt Stefanishion leads the team with six goals and eight points.
- Condor rookie defenseman Andrew Thomas has three assists in his last three games.

Victoria Salmon Kings (4-6-1) at Stockton Thunder (4-4-0) 7:30 p.m. PT
- Thunder have won the last two meetings to take a 3-1-0 lead in the season series against Victoria.
- Wes Goldie leads the Salmon Kings against Stockton with five goals and five points in four games.
- Stockton rookie Ryan Huddy has three points (1g-2a) in his last two games including his first pro goal on Friday.
- Victoria's Dylan Yeo is tied for second among ECHL defensemen with seven assists and nine points.

Phoenix RoadRunners (6-2-2) at Las Vegas Wranglers (3-4-1) 7:30 p.m. PT
- RoadRunners lead the ECHL on the penalty kill with 94.1 percent (64-for-68).
- Chris Ferraro leads Las Vegas with seven points (4g-3a) and he has five points (3g-2a) in his last three games.
- Phoenix's Craig Kowalski is 3-0-1 with a goals-against average of 1.98 in his last four starts.
- Wranglers lead the league in shots allowed with 24.00 per game.

- The ECHL celebrated its 20th Anniversary in 2007-08 and is the third-longest tenured professional hockey league behind only the National Hockey League and the American Hockey League.
- ECHL began in 1988-89 with five teams in four states and has grown to be a coast-to-coast league with 23 teams playing 828 games in 16 states and British Columbia in 2008-09.
- The Reading Royals, the City of Reading and the Sovereign Center will host the 17th Annual ECHL All-Star Game on Jan. 21, 2009 and the 12th Annual All-Star Skills Competition on Jan. 20, 2009.
- The league officially changed its name from East Coast Hockey League to ECHL on May 19, 2003.
- Affiliations with 26 of the 30 teams in the National Hockey League marking 12th consecutive season that the league has had affiliations with at least 20 teams in the NHL.
- 367 former ECHL players have played in NHL.
- 111 have played their first NHL game in the last four seasons.

- Former ECHL coaches working as head coaches in the NHL are Bruce Boudreau of the Washington Capitals, Scott Gordon of the New York Islanders and Peter Laviolette of the Carolina Hurricanes. Boudreau, who coached Mississippi for three seasons winning the Kelly Cup championship in 1999, was named NHL Coach of the Year in 2007-08 becoming the first former ECHL coach to receive the award. Laviolette, who began his coaching career with the Wheeling Nailers, led Carolina Hurricanes to the Stanley Cup in 2006.
- There are 18 assistant coaches in the NHL who were players or coaches in the ECHL.
- There are 18 former ECHL officials scheduled to work as part of the NHL officiating team in 2008-09 with referees David Banfield, Chris Ciamaga, Ghislain Hebert, Marc Joannette, Mike Leggo, Wes McCauley, Dean Morton, Dan O'Rourke, Brian Pochmara, Kevin Pollock, Kyle Rehman, Chris Rooney, Justin St. Pierre and Ian Walsh and linesmen Steve Barton, Brian Mach, Tim Nowak and Jay Sharrers. Barton, Joannette, Leggo, McCauley, Nowak, Pollock, Rooney and Sharrers all worked the 2008 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
- ECHL has affiliations with 25 of the 29 teams in the American Hockey League and for the past 19 years there has been an ECHL player on the Calder Cup Champion.
- In the last six seasons the ECHL has had more call-ups to the AHL than all other professional leagues combined with over 2,000 call-ups involving more than 1,000 players since 2002-03.
