Ivan Rabb Returns to Westchester; Hickman Waived

WHITE PLAINS, NY - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, have waived Nate Hickman following Ivan Rabb's return from the AmeriCup Qualifiers.
Rabb was named to the 12-man roster for the USA February 2020 AmeriCup Qualifying Team on February 12 which provided the Knicks a roster exemption making way for Hickman.
"I feel like (playing for USA Basketball now) means more to me, understanding that as I got older and more mature, what it really means," Rabb said during the national team's training. "I'm just excited for the opportunity to grow with the guys on the team."
USA topped Puerto Rico on February 20, 83-70, in San Juan and again on February 23, 95-73, at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, DC. The team trained from February 14-22.
The Knicks return to action Wednesday, February 26 versus the Greensboro Swarm at the Westchester County Center.
