Indoor Football League
For the first time in league history, the IFL has introduced "the Deuce" into play for the 2020 season. The new scoring rule is the only major rule change for the league heading into the 2020 campaign. The Deuce is an opportunity for a team to add more points following a score. On the ensuing kickoff after a touchdown or made field goal, if the kicking team kicks the ball through the uprights, a two-point Deuce is awarded. However, the Deuce is only in effect during the final 60 seconds of each half.
